Id say November the earliest if I had to guess. I dont have sources, just using logic based on whats actually happening

Yes. 55 is the new 70. They also started giving 5 borough resident points

Need a 61 before curve, as long as you can reach 61 with throwouts, youre good.

Not true. Everyone is still using that 2017 chart. It was just for THAT EXAM. Last Sgts exam had guys under a 61 post throwouts.

Does 300 original passers sound right? No credible info just a guess considering the low pass rate.

No there wasn't. Same curve applied to 2017 Sgt Exam, 2022 Capt Exam and 2022 Sgt exam.
Raw score plus throwouts had to equal 61 for you to make the list. Already been proven many times.

I wouldnt say it has been proven. Nothing about these recent exams and scores has been proven bro, we all know that. Your just saying that to sound credible come on now.
Do you have the actual proof or can you direct us how and where this has been proven, because most of whats on here is speculation.

Yes, it has been proven. I can with 100% certainty say that. I'm not posting for shits and giggles.
Its a simple mathematical equation, again that has been posted and talked about many times on this board.
Now, obviously DCAS could switch it up for the Lt exam, who knows. But for the last 3 exams, a 0.231 scaling was applied. You can verify yourself with your own score, or anyone's score for that matter.
Raw score + "Throwouts" (which includes throwouts, double and triple answers) + Scaling (0.231 for every wrong answer left) + Seniority, Medals, JST, etc... = Final Score
Plug in a 60 and you'll see you wont reach the 70 needed. (Seniority, medals, etc.. are only applied after reaching a passing 70 score)

Did you go to the TVB reading session? How do you know for sure what the throwout/double answers were?
MuhlikCritty said

I never said I did?
If you plug your numbers into the equation, you can calculate exactly how many throwouts you received.

The .231 points per wrong answer was the formula for both the 2017 and 2022 Sergeant Exam, as well as the 2022 Captains exam, making a 61 (final score after TVB makes their adjustments) the passing score. This isn't a matter of debate, it's pure fact.

The list is LEAST LIKELY to drop this month for the following reasons
1. No chatter about military verification emails.
2. No chatter about make up exams.
3. No email from DCAS regarding TVB reading session, which indicates TVB might still be in progress.
4. Unused 1.5 mile run + JST points in ESS.
5. Budget cut and slowdown of Executive Promotions.
6. 2017 list still active with few people skipped over.

1- Make up exams have no bearing on a list being published.
2- Budget crisis will not prevent the filling of vacancies for this Dept.
3- Whats shown on ESS doesnt get updated instantly when the points get applied. All previous lists their lists were published before anything online was updated.
4- A new list can and has been published while another list existed (even with remaining passovers)

The only real good point you have is no one has said they received the military verification emails.
Even the TVB Reading Emails/notifications have gone out after lists been published.

I am more concerned about my salary. Top pay cops and brand new Sgts are making more than me. Thats disgusting. With almost two and a half years in rank, its tough for me to digest. I can wait until March 23/24 anniversary date. No problem as long as the salary problem is fixed.

Whats even worse is the rumors of us not receiving any retro for the pay disparity when the raises finally kick in. The longer they prolong this process, the worst it is for us as we will continue to be at a loss.

Union is working to correct that, your concern should really be in union saying youre not being compensated retroactively. Its a significant amount of money, some are owed over 40k+.
