Hope it's a 80 clip. Over 100 LT vacancies, with a couple dozen on terminal from my understanding.

Supposedly the Lt. list is coming out today at 1430. Im hearing they will do 60 or so during the promotion of the current bmoc class which will create 60 Sgt. vacancies. As far as where I heard it from if I wrote it on here do you think they would ever tell me anything again.

The latest rumors for the LT promotions were June 5th and June 26th. So a BMOC going in next week would make sense, but thats only IF there is any truth to the late June promotion (and of course if it's not a down month).

This list is going all 4 years I truly think it will get to around 2400. There is way two much time to tell but there are a ton of sgts leaving April of 2019. Also now with Lt test and a shortage of over 100 helps. Only time will tell and should have a better idea this time next year.

You guys ridiculous. This list not being "Cut" at 1600 or 1800. If these new lists have shown us anything it is that you can't go by the past. Which what you are all basing your predictions on. Even without my sources I can look at this logically from a mile a way and see. The original SGT's list for the 2017 test was 1400 people. The CITY... Not the JOB... The CITY did not go through all of the hoops it did to balloon the list up to 2700 just to cut it at 1600 or 1800. It was scaled for a reason!!! The LT's list got the result that the CITY wanted so they didn't have to "Scale" it. You don't think it's strange that they scaled one exam and not the other? I mean come on. Also tie in the fact that the CAPTs list is going to be huge too. This is the new norm. It sucks severely for the guys waiting to take another exam. Five year wonders will now become as rare as unicorns, but this is how it's going to be. A list hasn't expired since the Kelly and Bloomberg regime. Everyone forgets that. This is a new era. They City has a new way of doing things and before you tell me a new regime will be in in 4 years. It doesn't matter. There are and will be precautions taken. Everyone just chill out and let time run its course.

With passovers being considered, the "58" rumor means they'll be promoting well-passed the originally planned 233 cutoff that they established for the mentoring program. They'll probably get to over 250, especially since this is being done before some other guys can reach longevity requirements in early July as they hit their 5 year anniversaries. The job really is moving.

So they will reach approx. list # 250 for the first half of the year. So they are on track for about 500 a year, which is about the norm.

I don't think the Mentoring schedule will have any affect on promotions at all. The job is going to continue to promote as they see fit, and the 49 released by the PC's office detailing the program basically says as much.
That being said, we're not even halfway through Monday, but has anyone heard anything about the next class? FINEST has gotta be coming down Wednesday or Thursday (providing the 18th is even happening), so I'm assuming they've settled on a number, or they've almost done so. 50? 60?
