Do you need a code for this PEMU?

They can kill off the whole list in one promotion. There will be even more vacancies when they promote captains later this month.

Most Lieutenants stay a while since it's still the best rank. 40 and out.

Sgts class in today...so their promotions slated for end of nov...so could be another promotion by end of November to finish off list!

It reflects the 17 lieu's that were promoted to capts. That's probably why.

Let's hope they end that list in Nov. likely results in the new Lt list getting released this month.

there are 43 vacancies and only 39 sgts from the current list waiting to be promoted. There should be a class to finish this list In November.

maybe stupid question: does that number reflect the vacancies after the promotions today?? Or since 31 got promoted, is it +5 after today?

I believe promotions were on the 24th, so those numbers should reflect current vacancies

No he waited until after promotions to run it. That's why he said as of 11/25, the promotions were 11/24. The vacancies are showing that a LT class is needed, especially if they promote Captains as some are speculating. Good news for our list!

Wow wtf that is huge. If it's a small list it will go by fairly quickly. That's not taking to account future capt promos.

Not a typo. The numbers reflect the excess of promotions to LCD and LSA. LCD and LSA are over by 18, and 24. They are listed separately from the Lieutenants specific head count.
technocrat1 said

I have never seen so much over promoting. All the ranks are over from their original numeric allocation. The numbers would have to be adjusted if you will by subtracting 18+24.

So its really 31 vacancies if were going by that theory.

Seems about right. I've seen the LCD and LSA over by a few, never by so much. When lieutenants get promoted to LCD or LSA they appear to create a vacancy in the Lieutenant's portion.
RMP6969 said

31 still seems to be a good amount of vacancies. If a Captain's class goes in that number jumps into the 40's.
TiNmAn said

And the number seems to be there for capt if they want to go there. So Jan should be good for those that make it.

I don't believe TL is much of an indicator of future vacancies anymore. You can cash it out. Why would anyone burn it these days unless they planned on returning?

Makes perfect sense. The PC made mention on one of his videos about adding 300 promotions. I posted in the past that I believed it add 60 plus to the rank of LT. This may be what we are seeing.
