Schools backing us? Dont make me laugh. Just cause these schools sent out an email doesnt mean there backing us. I dont see them holding a class to teach us how to protest these question. All they did was send a damn email. The schools are a joke. I should fill out a 61 for grand larceny for all the f*cking money i spent on their useless courses!

If we had all taken a "normal" Lt exam we would all be commending the schools for doing a great job - and for every exam given in the last 20 years, their material was sufficient. I guess it's their fault the job threw this nonsense test out there ?

I dont have a problem with how the schools taught us. I have a problem with how they abandon us after the test was over. I guess since the test is over n done with we are no longer there students even though i dropped a sh!t load of money and went to every class! Azzholes!

First of the job did not throw this, it was the City of New York. The blame is not with the schools. What the schools share in all of this is complacency and getting used to how things were done for the past 20 years.
Actually I don't know if it was the City or the Job. Oops.

The bottom line is that all of us were thrown off with the judgement questions that DCAS decided to determine how many had to be written. So stop blaming the city or the test writers!!! Blame the City for not having control over knowing this and getting it out to the test takers. And the truth is YOU CANT STUDY AND MEMORIZE FOR THESE TYPE OF QUESTIONS!!! You either know it or you dont. As far as the Patrol Guide Questions are concerned......you guys are exaggerating! Yes there were hard questions but what did you expect??? There were also groud balls! No exam is 100% perfect as the writers arent perfect. They are exactly like all of us LT.'s and a Captain. They didnt go to a special school to write perfect questions so that all of us can pass with flying colors!!!!. So get over it and protest what can be protested with legitimate factual material to back it up and point the finger where it belongs. The question who really is to blame?????

You have 2 posts on here and both are defending the exam writers, so I'm guessing you were one of them. Ok - the judgement questions came from DCAS, but it's inexcusable that someone who knew the PG cover-to-cover would have problems with the questions.
How hard is it to make a question which has one right answer, and you either know it or you don't? Rising Star made up over a thousand questions and even though they were tough and tested obscure proceures, virtually all of them had one right answer. The exam was sloppy and I spent more time trying to figure out wtf was being asked than answering the question.
