just got word from a buddy in the academy that was told to get ready for a sgt. class going in on june 28th

Does he know how many?

I would be they split it in half and put in 70 or so

Yeah, I heard the same thing about the class from a LT at my command. Didn't have any info on how many going in though.

I hope u guys r right. They only info on promotions i got is that 40 LTs and 10 Capts r going in on the 25th. 

When was the last time a group of sgts made lt?? perhaps that's a sign of a bigger sgt's class for the end of june/ beginning of july class.

On June 28 app. 40 sgts are getting promoted to Lt's. Next BMOCK July/August. Let's hope for July!

also, on June 2, 19 Sgt retirements came down in the orders.

so hopefully at least 60......but then again there hasn't been a class since march...so it's possible that they put in 120......LOL

Does anyone know if they ever put in a class of over 100 people before?

Years ago huge sgts classes were the regular. That was also when they had 40,000 people on the job and guys actually retired at 20.

Folks, Let's hope Dumb Brasses make smart decision and put atleast 70 people in July Class and be over with this list by Sep.

I still see it being 50, 50, 50.

I hope its 70 also....My command needs Sgt's

Called uniform promotions, no July class as of now. F.......k. Sorry for the bad news, this is CRAZZZY.

Even if they knew about the class, they wouldn't tell you.

I hope you right and this is the only game they play, but last time I called and they said no class and there wasn't class.

Listen there are 40 Sgts getting promoted to Lts on June 25th from what i here, nothing on Sgts. Someone should call Uniform Promotions and see if they give you an answer on that.

I agree with al, their not going to tell u if there is one. We'll know in a week if there is going to be one.

I was also just informed that there will be a June 28th Sgt. class going in. I'm hearing different numbers but I was actually told that 70 people wll be going in. I was also told that they're 18 passovers so far and that most of them will be eligible for this class. Hopefully this information is accurate.

Hopefully the info is good. Uniformed Promotions never tells you when you call. You need to know someone in Personnel like Cat probably did to to get reliable info before the Finest message comes down.
Lets all keep our fingers crossed and get this list moving again!!!!

i will have an answer for u guys on monday i just found out the reason is because the captain  that decides the date is on vacation and will be back on monday but they did say a class is going in but no date yet and this is from a solid source

First class from 2008 exam #7508 went in September 2008. List is good for 4 Years.

As great as this sounds, is this really true? So the finest for the class would come down July 1 or July 2?

I would think it would come down on the last Wednesday in June, which will be the 30th.
