Anyone wonder what the next LT contract will look like?  Deblasio hates us so Idk if we will even get 3's.

There wont be a new contract untill the next administration. Deblasio is a lame duck mayor, serves no purpose for him to give new contracts to anyone.

3's?? If we get 3's everyone will be ecstatic. Remember the last contracts were basically 11 1/2 % over 7 years. An average yearly raise of 1.65% a year.

Things are different this time around. First everyone is caught up. So we will get linked to civilians ie dc37 if they settle. More importantly pba went to perb so that will link us atleast two years if not more if agreed on. Pretty much what Im saying is that we will see a contract before deblasio leaves even if its two years

The only NYPD union that can afford to go to PERB is the PBA. The LBA doesn't have any leverage in negotiations, what do they really have to give back? We all know any raise is gonna come with givebacks.

DC37 is a larger union and are De blasio supporters. They will get a good deal while the LBA could get the shaft.

The only mayor who  gave raise during the end of his second term was Bloomberg. He did that because he was going to run for the third time and he needed support across the board. DiBlasio wont run again(I hope not) hence, no raises
