I know the pay scale I didn't know night diff holiday uniform etc. Any lt on here at top pay doing midnights that could give an accurate number?

I'm actually really interested in the chart days also.

I know uniform promotions unit has a breakdown that they give in LT bmoc. Does anyone have that sheet?

No chart days for 7 years is a joke. The union shouldve been tarred and feathered after that great bargaining round.

The LBA did that rather than go to a 4 year stretch which is what the Sergeants did in that round. Stated reason was that people becoming LT have much more time on and would not want to wait the extra year to top pay, especially those nearing the 20 year mark.

There is a legal issue with forcing anyone to work over 40 hours a week and not being compensated. I think the LBA should look into legal action against the City for possible federal labor law violations.

Exactly!! The SBA won this in court. I can't understand how they got away with it with the Lts.

I believe all affected and future lieutenants should be hitting the drums and stop these abuses by the city. No way should lieutenants be working 3 hours 45 mins.

Captains work 9 hour tours their first year in rank. After that they only work 8 hour tours, as such they don't rate chart days because they have a 40 hour work week. Shortest work week of any union.

IDK a Capt tends to work a lot and I believe that some get screwed with if they turn down a command. I think I will take the next exam after promotion to Lt. If I make it on the Capt's list I can always turn it down depending on where I am in life. It's not a family friendly rank... I like this job but I don't live for it ya know

Yes there are. For those that stay past 8 hours they are compensated.
