did anyone have to combine college and academy credits yet?  If so, any recommendations as to how to proceed?

I did excelsior for sgts examthey carged like 250 to combine the credits gonna use them again for this exam if my 72 holds

Those free leadership classes offered by john jay can also be used. On top of that there is also some nys law enforcement bill that allows cops to take one college class tuition free at a cuny or suny school. But on that note make sure you check your credits with the educational tracking unit. Ive heard nightmare stories of guys waiting till the last minute to see if they have the credits.

Dont send it to the old police academy I believe the moved to the new one... I was there a few months ago and one of the cops in the booth said peoples trancripts where sitting in the booth and on that front desk in a pile for weeks

The Candidate Assessment unit/Education tracking Unit is still 100% in the old police academy, room 833. I was just there...

Education Tracking Unit - (718)-312-4455.  They have a 718 number but are still located in the old academy.  You can confirm this when you call.
