Lol, just coming on here after a few months and catching up to old posts I think I figured out what happened with the rumors between the FOIL request stating 1182 preliminary passers vs the "just under 8%" rumor.

Someone might have made a Math mistake. If you divide 9032 (The number of test takers on 2/22 and 2/27) into 1182 (numbers of preliminary passers according to DCAS on the FOIL request). You get 7.64% (here's your just under 8%).

Thats the incorrect way to do it. You have to divide 1182 into 9032 and you get 13.09%. Thats your pass rate, pre-throwouts.
