Well if there was a class about to go in and it was "canceled" they obviously need Lt's.. So I'd say wait till end of next month....most likely there will be a class.. They wouldn't no promote cause of lack of space because there are months where there are 2 time slots for promotions and they could have done that...
its been said over and over again....it has nothing to do with space in BMOC! Yes, obviously there is enough room to fit 500 promotions if need be. But promotion day at 1 pp is another story. It was said that there are a HUGE amt of discretionary promotions taking place and this is what caused the cancellation.
Went by Academy today and Lt believes there will be an October class (guess that's end of Septembe?). Also if they don't make more Sgt's then a bigger room and they will make more Lt's.
Too quite so here are my thoughts on September based solely on my thinking and deduction abilities from suduku. So we are hearing that the academy only has 2 rooms for promotions. Also Capt forum is jumping CO's notified to mentor Lt's before promotion the 25th (10-15 capts). These Captains will get the smaller classroom. Lieutenant's will need to get promoted to compensate for the loss and the large demand. They will need 45-50 lieutenant's in the big classroom. Since both classrooms are occupied and over 150 new sgt in past 2 months. No Sgt's will be put in for Octobe promotions.
