This Lt's exam really isn't confirmed. All the finest says is that DCAS is planning on holding a Lt's exam early march of 2015, the finest didn't even give an actual date. Yanosik says is going to be on march 21, the key sas march 14th, no one really knows yet. Also if you can get made by the end of the year you'll be good for the Lt's exam if its held in march. Dcas checks everyone's eligibility 2 months before the test, to make sure your a sgt and you also have at least one day in rank.

The finest came down for April 18, 2015.
I am not sure if what you are saying is true about being eligible for the exam. You only need one day in rank to be eligible so DCAS can't check that two months before.
