Ok, not to be a douchebag... But if this class happened I would be in it, no matter how small it was. But with the change of admin at that point, I honestly see them taking a few months off after Nov. There will be December promotions, but I think the will all be discretionary.

Is there usually a December class for all the new cops coming out in January and use them for New Years?

That makes three of us lol , I'm 27 names away . Just want to be indoors for December at bmoc , god willing

My guess is there will be a class. And my guess is that the number will be 75. There has been a holiday class the last 3 years between SGTs and LTs. So we will see.

 

And again that is my guess, but looking at the personnel orders, there were alot of sgts that retired. So before I get flamed trolls, go home and get your shinebox...

Sigh... its the same sh*t every month... the haters r gonna say stuff like...Next month will be a mayor so no bmocc, the following month will be the mayors first month in office so they r gonna watch the budget - no bmocc, the month after that will be too cold for a class, the month after that will be down because the need a down month, then the following month it's spring and bmocc somehow will be down again, and the the following month after that, they r preparing for a summer class so it's another down month, then its another down month because in 1972, bmocc was canceled that exact month, then finally..let me guess....... They cut the list cuz the new list must be established! Lol u people r funny and whenever there is actually a down month, u haters r like "see!!!! I told u!!" Lol u guys shouldn't be cops and become weather men. They r usually right 50% out of the entire year.

The mayor has no concern over promotional classes. To think a new mayor will come in and say put a halt on all NYPD promotions, is actually ridiculous. The Dept runs it self at this point and our promotional classes will be the least of the mayor's concerns. I'm still sticking with my original assumption that this List will be done by December 2014.

Exactly, when they didn't have academy classes in they still promoted people. We will know for sure in a few weeks.
