That sucks I was hoping they would push it back so I would be eligible to take it, oh well next time.

Well the exam is generally 3 months after filing.............so they are shooting for around April ...........personnaly i feel that they will wait till after they kill the LT list, and this way all those promoted off the present LT list will get to take the exam.'

(that of course is assuming they kill it when they should)

The "tentative" filing date for the 2012 Captain's exam is 01-04-2012 until 01-24-2012. The exam is "scheduled" for May 19, 2012 but like everything in life, this all can change. This info was obtained from The Chief (newspaper) about a month ago. Good Luck to all who will be eligible.
